Microsoft and Pizza Hut launch Pizza Hut App on Xbox
The latest application to hit the Xbox 360 is Pizza Hut. The app allows users to order their favourite pizza straight from their Xbox for either collection or delivery from the popular pizza food chain.
The application is much like phone apps, users can browse through the entire menu, including specials offers and deals, while pizzas can be made using the controller, voice commands and even Kinect.
“If you look at our audience, they love pizza,” said Microsoft spokesperson Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb to Polygon. “I mean, who doesn’t? It has international appeal, and Pizza Hut is a recognised brand that matches up well with the Xbox brand.”
Customers can simply link their Xbox and Pizza Hut accounts for easy ordering, while Facebook connection is also enabled so you can tell the world what you’re eating. The application launches today for North America with 15% off available for the first two weeks.
European availability has yet to be confirmed although we’re hoping we get the app too!
