Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed via a question asked on Twitter that not every game will have the ability to be played using the Vita as a controller.
The worldwide studios boss replied “@InsideEddie Hey BRO! In a normal sense, no. Unless a game is specifically programmed to allow such use of PS Vita,” so it looks as though developers will need to specifically design their game in order for players to take advantage of Vita uses.
It has been suggested previously that Remote Play would not require additional modifications to allow PlayStation 4 games to work on the Vita. All games were expected to be available for Remote play with the exception of games that require the PlayStation Move and PlayStation Eye, as it was suggested that all games would support playback on the handheld console.
